Where are my manufacturers located?

While I do hand-illustrate every single item you see on my site, I don't print or knit them myself. I work with manufacturers for this part of the creation process!

My manufacturers are located in the USA, China, and Germany. I use three separate manufacturers for my graphic tees, knitwear, and prints/stickers. Because each of them specializes in different types of products (graphic tees vs knitwear vs prints) it was logistically necessary to split up where I source my products from.

As a small business/artist, I do not have the funds to purchase my own warehouse, hire my own staff, and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Direct-to-Garment printers or Jacquard-Knitting machines - which is another reason that I source from external manufacturers.

What are my manufacturers' policies on sustainability?

All three of my manufacturers take sustainability seriously, which is why I decided to work with them. Each one creates my products on-demand, which means there is zero fabric waste created across my entire catalog of products. When you place an order with me, your item is being created specifically for you.

Additionally, my manufacturers ship all of my products out in fully recycled mailers so as to not create additional plastic waste in an Earth that already has too much of it, and to simultaneously give already-made plastics a second life.

Are my employees paid fairly?

This is something that was, and is, extremely important to me when searching for manufacturers to work with. I made sure to vet my manufacturers heavily before deciding to work with them to ensure that they were operating on the same moral and ethical standard that I hold for myself and this brand.

And - while technically they aren't my employees, but the employees of my manufactures, since I outsource my products - I'm extremely proud to say that all three of my manufacturers pay their employees a livable wage and are dedicated to fair treatment of workers, while upholding an ethical and safe working environment.

What about returns and exchanges?

All unsold returns or exchanges are never discarded and always donated. This is something my manufacturers do to prevent adding any waste to the planet, and something that I do as well. Fast fashion is a serious issue in our current culture, and it's extremely important to me and my personal morals that I don't add to that, which is why I run this brand the way that I do.
